Schools and universities are facing unprecedented pressure to both transform their classrooms technologically – and control costs. The demand continues to grow, while budgets to core drill or trench makes it costly. More and more schools have made the Connectrac Designer Wireway their new standard to bring power and telecommunications to the facilitator. It seamlessly integrates into the flooring and is very discreet. Plus, it meets ADA standards.
No More Core Drilling or Trenching To Achieve A Seamless Approach To Connectivity
Connectrac’s new generation ultra-low-profile wireway systems are more subtle and powerful than ever. It is only 5/8″ above carpet grade and incorporates lower-sloping moisture-resistant MDF ramps which are earth-friendly and ADA compliant. Plus, with the accessible wireway cap along the length of the Connectrac system, keeping up with the latest technology is a snap. It is built for durability and functionality with a low-profile extruded aluminum wireway.
Flexible for today’s and tomorrow’s requirements
Connectrac systems are designed to be used in new construction, renovations, or modular furniture configurations. Connectrac systems come in 8 foot and 4 foot lengths. They can be field-cut to any length and can be joined together end-to-end also. Connectrac systems are designed to be moved and reconfigured with minimal labor, material and expense as your needs change. The aluminum wireway components are simply unscrewed from the floor slab after the power and data cables are disconnected and reinstalled with new MDF ramps in their new location.
The system was designed and engineered to accommodate a load of 1,000 pounds on a 4-wheel cart. That’s about the greatest load we could conceive our system encountering in the typical commercial or institutional interior environment.
